Jeff Gray

Jeff comes to Renew Counseling Ministries with decades of experience working with marriages, families and ministers. He has an extensive background in community mental health and ministry. He loves seeing individuals, couples and families become emotionally healthy in order to be all that God created them to be. Jeff also has utilized his counseling skills on short-term mission trips, as well as intensives with ministers and ministry couples. He has been used to educate ministers and other groups in self-care, emotional health, and the effects spiritual abuse. Jeff is a licensed minister and has pastoral experience. Jeff has always counseled with a heart for seeing people grow healthier in their relationships, passions, and faith. Jeff believes that an individual cannot be spiritually healthy if the person is not emotionally healthy. Jeff loves to see an individual have a true revelation of their identity in Christ, aside from what they can accomplish, and apply this revelation throughout their daily life.
Jeff grew up in rural West Tennessee in a church founded by his great-grandfather. With a rich spiritual heritage, Jeff pursued God from an early age and knew God had a special calling on his life to help others. He was especially drawn to the counseling field through the influence of popular ‘80s psychologists. He met the love of his life, Diana in church. They have now been married 40+ years, and continue to pursue open doors as the Lord leads. Together, they are especially passionate about missions and have been on several short-term mission trips. Outside of ministry, Jeff loves to spend time with his church family, friends and growing family at home including their adult children and grandchildren that keep ‘Nana and Pops” on their toes.
