Ali Galehouse

Ali comes to Renew from Kent State University, where she is pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Mount Union. As an intern at Renew, Ali is passionate about walking alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges and pursue healing and growth.
Ali is passionate about building meaningful connections—she values authenticity, empathy, and openness, and brings those same qualities into her work as a counselor. Being a Christian is an important part of her life, and she’s grateful to incorporate that perspective into sessions with clients who wish to include faith in their counseling journey. She deeply desires to create a space where clients feel safe, valued, and empowered to explore their experiences and grow. Outside of counseling, Ali enjoys spending time with friends and family, baking, and reading. One of her lifelong goals is to have her very own in-home library!
