Roshni Kalikotey
M.A. LPC
Roshni comes to Renew bringing experience with individuals impacted by trauma, shaped by both professional training and personal understanding. Roshni has worked extensively with children and families involved in Child Protective Services (CPS), supporting those navigating complex and often challenging circumstances. Originally from Nepal and living in the United States since 2011, Roshni brings a lived perspective informed by a multigenerational refugee background, with a deep awareness of how trauma can be carried and expressed across generations. Roshni is passionate about creating safe, culturally responsive spaces where clients can feel seen, heard, and supported as they process and heal.
One of the most important values to Roshni is ensuring that when someone reaches out for help, they are met with compassion and a genuine opportunity for healing. She strives to foster connection, advocate for mental health awareness, and support clients in prioritizing their well-being. Roshni values being fully present with others and considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients in their journeys. Outside of counseling, Roshni enjoys hiking in the mountains and exploring Korean cuisine, especially spicy dishes. She is also mindful of cultural and individual differences and is dedicated to creating a counseling space that honors each person’s unique background and story.
